This course is a 4- day course over 32 hours of training, with practical and theoretical testing
which is all done in house by material experts, this course combines L1/L2 components and
teaches the candidates to work as a team.

Subjects covered:

Theory: scene and patient safety. Communicable disease and prevention, vital signs, basic
human anatomy, shock, bleeding control, chest injuries, spontaneous pneumothorax and
tension pneumothorax, tension haemothorax, penetrating chest injuries, barrier trauma (
blast injuries), environmental emergencies, spinal injuries, hand, ear, nose and eye injuries
fractures, seizures and head injury, burns. CPR infant, adults and choking and poisons,
diabetic emergencies

Practical: vitals, splinting, bandaging, Cardio pulmonary resuscitation and Heimlicht
maneuver, immobilization, ear, nose and eye treatment and chest injuries, treatment of
poisons
